Sorry that this has taken a while to get posted, our mistake. I hope this works out (this is Cade and I'm a first time poster). We (myself, Kristi, Greg and Andrea) had a great time on the cruise and would like to share a few of those precious moments with you. Enjoy, and God Bless.

The wintry day, descending to its close...

Well, it is technically spring, but we went a step backwards here and had 40 degrees. Blech. Speaking of forgotten hymns, we sang 166 "Abide with me" in our combined sunday school and has a little lesson on it. There are 4 unlisted verses that we don't have. You should really google the hymn and read the others. Very nice. While you're at it, pull out the hymn book with your spouse, family, or roomie, and sing #37, which was referenced in this blog title. This hymn is probably best sung on winter solstice, the longest night of the winter, because it is the longest song of the hymnbook. Anyone that has sat through it knows.
I assume that everyone has been busy from spring break, work, and whatever, and has not had time to post. That's OK. I'm sure everyone is busy getting ready for summer. I am getting ready to be done with this semester. For the latest on our easter, check out our little family blog. I expect that everyone else had easter fun that will soon be posted. Oh yeah- this is Sadie, in a drawer, because I love these kind of lame pranks. Sorry so silly.

Let's all give a shout out to the leader of the pack. Annie we hope that you will be a grand leader and example to your younger pupils (aka the cousins).  We know you have it in you. That is why you were chosen. Go Annie go!! Please all write one nice comment about Annie.

THE COUSINS

I hereby dedicate this post to 4 crazy, cute girls! Why, you may ask? This picture explains it all. Cousin fun! This is the beginning of many fun trips to see the cousins, to play with the cousins and to just have a grand ol' time with the cousins. We need some more cousins (hint, hint).

OK, gang.  This truly has been a weird, wild, wonderful weekend.  It should be noted that aunt Kelli was the first extended Olsen to meet and greet baby Sadie, and what a hit!  Among the pious Madrigals, faculty and staff of the BEHS choir, and other Box Elder vocal family dynasties (take your pick...), Sadie was a great success and a star.  Even if Michael Van Duesen himself had a baby, it probably wouldn't be as popular as Sadie was on Saturday.  I am not exaggerating.
So anyway, we surprised Kell in the Holocaust museum and then hung with her the rest of the day.  I almost made a miraculous new way to get to the temple from downtown DC.  It would have been my finest hour.  Unfortunately, it ended in near disaster with us driving frantically in an unknown corner of Maryland, but luckily Kelli was only 20 minutes late. Sadie behaved, we saw some Richmond friends at the concert, and then instead of going back to the hotel (I followed buses this time) we took kelli to a grocery store parking lot where we ate ice cream while Ashley fed Sadie.  Paaaaarrrrrty!
In other news, we are looking forward to seeing everyone and introducing you to the little princess.  Speaking of her, Ashley and I decided that we will wait until next year to start Sadie on piano lessons.  Of course we will have to squeeze them in between her riding lessons (she must ride like a lady), tennis, violin, polo, and retrenchment society activities. She will have to find her own time for croquet and bocce ball.
Welp I guess that's the blog.  Congrats to Heidi for a new nephew and a great post that included the word "blogosphere".  Excellent!  We look forward to seeing everyone, even you cruisers.  you know who you are.  I'm not going to mention skype in this post. I'm sure everyone has been sufficiently warned and is standing by.

My Nephew

Well, this is Heidi, reporting on the blog again. Our compy is up and running again with a new power supply. (you may have noticed my obvious absence from the blogging and computer world.) While our "desktop" was out of commission, Jarom would bring his lappy home for use in the evening, but if you think I had time to blog and read ksl under his watchful eye, you are wrong!
As you can see, we've been very busy. I am again an aunt and, unlike most of you out there in the blogosphere of Olsenville, I have a NEPHEW! His name is Henry Thomas Ricks. He was born 10 days early....Maybe I should try having a boy sometime....He was 7lb8oz and as you can see can rival little Sadie in the hairdoo department....once again, maybe if I had a boy he'd have hair...he was born on Monday morning, Feb. 25th. The girls love him, but I try to keep them away so they don't bother Rachel and Chad.

On his Birthday with his cousins. (we even sang to him)
Check out those side burns!

The boys

Anyway, For more info and yet another blog to check see http://familyricks.blogspot.com/ (its not mine, its Chad and Rachel's)
