Hey Bloggers,
It's been awhile, but i am back in cyberspace. It's unfortunate that this blog has really lamed out. Let's take our own advice and get it going again. All the popular people keep current on their blogs. Anyway, I would like to present a brief photo montage of my recent doings. (1. Camping with the fam at Zion; 2. Camping with the cousins; 3. The result of a terrible night of mosquitoes in BC; 4. Family camping trip to Tetons; 5. Hindu temple trip with some friends; 6.Conference weekend; 7. I'm not sick, just breakfast in bed at the hotel in San Diego; 8. Disneyland!!; 9. Zion with friends; 10. 4th of July: Island Park; 11. Annie and Kath helped me move)

Also, I have noticed recently that the economical status of our nation (and the rest of the world, actually) is a bit unstable. And then I came across this scripture in Ether that explained it all: "And now, we can behold the decrees of God concerning this land, that it is a land of promise; and whatsoever nation shall possess it shall serve God, or they shall be aswept off when the fulness of his bwrath shall come upon them. And the fulness of his wrath cometh upon them when they are cripened in iniquity."
But, Olsens, take it from me. As a natural pessimist who is trying to become an optimist, I think it's going to be OK. I think we will survive. I like Pres. Uchtdorf's words:
"Hope sustains us through despair. Hope teaches that there is reason to rejoice even when all seems dark around us."
