Hawaii!!!!

Jarom and Heidi's Trip to Hawaii April-May 2008
Kayaking was fun

We stood on British soil at the Capt. Cook Monument (yes, we sang "God Save the King")

We ate yummy teriyaki steak and fried fish!

South Point, HI: The most southern point in the USA

Jarom loved throwing rocks into the ocean (the rock is on the left)
This is at Green sand Beach!

At Volcano Nat'l park
Jarom can always find a Japanese friend (this guy was so impressed and amazed)

Lookin' Good in Paradise!

Jarom in the jungles of Vietnam, I mean Hawaii on a hike

we hiked across that!

Lava flowing into the ocean (we were 1/4 mile away)

Jarom had fun in the steam vent.

A lava cast of a tree.

Very Romantic

Jarom at black sand beach.

We went to the most beautiful botanical garden.

Cute! (or Cheesy)

Dolphins!

Snorkeling with turtles.

Jarom after church at the temple.

The Kona, HI Temple

Beautiful coasts!

Jarom, Me, and the King (I can't spell his name)

One of the more crowded beaches on the Big Island

Our almost night snorkeling with manta rays trip. (It was canceled due to weather)

Jarom getting us Sushi!

Inside a McDonalds on Hawaii

We saw a friend at the Polynesian Cultural Center (PCC for all you Hawaii buffs)

Jarom learning a native dance from some "cousins"
Jarom liked participating --this is New Zealand, it was his favorite!

Pulling out our pig --It was just like Dad's! (they don't look like dad, though)

Can you say all you can eat??!!!

another "engagement" picture of us in Hawaii (at the PCC)

The most shocking picture of all:
Real coconut is NOTHING like dried, gross stuff!!!

Our Korean friend goes to BYU-h, and she met us at the temple on Oahu.

Jarom buying this guy's book at pearl harbor. Jarom has read it and he really likes it!

I had a great time a pupukea
